Prosper Care & Support support all new staff members to register with Social Care Wales, and complete the All-Wales Induction Framework as part of their eLearning training within the first 12 weeks of their employment start date.

Staff members who do not currently hold a QCF in Health & Social Care are required to complete the Social Care Wales Principles and Values Award in order to register with SCW.

All staff members will be enrolled onto their QCF in Health & Social Care following successful completion of their probation, and undertake training in the following topics:

  • Essential Autism Training
  • Positive Behaviour Management/Support
  • SPELL
  • Health and Safety in the Workplace
  • Fire Safety
  • First Aid
  • Equality, Diversity and Human Rights
  • Infection, Prevention and Control
  • Food Hygiene/Food Safety Awareness Level 2
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Person Centred Support
